Collection: Indus Valley (Northwestern / Peshawar Valley)

Beads from the Peshawar Valley represent the northwestern reach of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization, a region shaped by trade, migration, and cultural exchange. Dating primarily to the Late Harappan and Post-Harappan periods (circa 2000–1000 BCE), these beads reflect a time of transition following the height of Indus urban life. Crafted by hand from stone using traditional techniques, each bead carries the natural wear and character of true antiquity. Scarce and increasingly difficult to obtain, beads from the Peshawar Valley are valued for their historical significance and for their connection to one of the world’s earliest cultural landscapes.
