This rare milky agate bead hails from the Swat Valley (ancient Udiyana) and dates to the Gandhara period, circa 100 BC – 300 AD. Remarkably well-preserved, its soft milky tones are complemented by distinctive internal inclusions that look moss-like. They are sometimes referred to as Sulemani Bacteria Agate. A historic and one-of-a-kind piece, it is well-preserved for its age and comes strung on an adjustable black nylon cord for display or wear.Size: 23.5mm x 14mm
