This rare carnelian bead hails from the Gilgit region and dates to approximately 200 AD during the Gandhara period. While it shows gentle wear at the top, the bead features unique eye-like patterns along its sides in a rich dark amber tone, giving it distinctive character. A historic and one-of-a-kind piece, it is well-preserved for its age and comes strung on an adjustable black nylon cord for display or wear.
